This test uses simulation software to assess flying skill.
This test needs to be run as part of our aviation assessment day.
This test forms part of the Symbiotics Aviation Assessment Day and therefore can't be purchased separately.
If you want to discuss the set-up of your assessment day, or have a conversation around the best options for your business, then get in touch with Symbiotics for an informed chat around the best approach for your organisation.
The candidate completes a practice session, followed by a recorded mission which is debriefed afterwards. It runs from a programme installed on a computer and requires a joystick and throttle as well as the ability to listen to audio. The test takes about 30 minutes to complete.
Symbiotics provide a full report of how the candidate performed and some comments and recommendations around their training potential.

The high cost of full flight simulators makes it impracticable to use them in the assessment of the very large number of individuals who apply to become pilots, many of whom do not have the personality traits, knowledge, skills or aptitudes to achieve their ambitions. The basic Fixed Wing Situational judgement test has proved itself as a cost effect environment for predicting the potential to succeed of would-be pilots.
